Not only has Joels work always been of the highest quality it is always the most intelligent solution for the problem at a realist price. I could not recommend him and his work more highly.

Joel has fitted 2 kitchens, a bathroom, helped with a loft conversion, and many other carpentry / joinery and general fixing things i’ve needed over the last 10 years (including making good after awful builders). he’s thorough, trustworthy and above all listens to what you want . I cannot recommend him highly enough.

As our business expanded we needed to create more space to archive and store equipment. Joel’s experience was invaluable in coming up with solutions which not only solved our immediate problems but helped us with future expansion. We were extremely pleased with the work Joel did for us and all our regular clients have walked into the office and said “Wow, it looks great in here”. So thanks Joel.

Joel carried out a series of projects throughout our building, producing bespoke desks in our video editing suites and laying down unique timber flooring. These were all specialist tasks that not only required great skill as a joiner but also a keen understanding of design. Joel’s exemplary work did both. I would recommend him to anyone who wants, not only a great joiner, but someone who understands how to apply that skill to the specific needs of his clients.

When I asked a few people to quote for some work recently (end 2008) I chose Joel to work with. Not because his quote was the cheapest (it wasn’t) but because his experience and attention to detail was clear from his initial comments and questions. This was certainly borne out by the results; there is a finesse to my alcove seat that I had not expected. The quality of Joel’s work is clear; he is no regular carpenter, but a craftsman who takes much pride in his work. He is also a very pleasant person to work alongside and this is a winning combination in my book!

Over a number of years; I have presented Joel with a variety of challenging timber constructions, of varying scale, which he has met with excellent technical ability, quality and rigour. He provides the client with a great service and result, which in many cases exceeds expectations. As a designer; I’d have no hesitation in recommending Joel; not just for the finished product, but for his expertise, advice and enthusiasm. He is a real pleasure to work with.

We wanted to replace all the interior doors in our house in Almondsbury. The job wasn’t straight-forward as the new doors were a different thickness to the old ones and so each door frame needed modification. We are delighted with the results of Joel’s work and will definitely use him again in the future.
